Job summary

HM Revenue & Customs is seeking a Head of Physical Security & Resilience within Estates. The role leads security standards, assurance activities and strategic direction for physical security across HMRC assets, staff and information.

The post requires a security/engineering background, degree, and membership of CSyP or equivalent. Travel UK-wide and SC clearance are expected for the successful candidate.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in relevant subject(s).
• Membership or fellowship of CSyP, Security Institute or RSES is desirable.
• Experience of security in large organisations and government context.

Responsibilities

• Lead Threat & Risk Assurance (TaRA) process and security strategy.
• Set Physical Security Design Standards (PSDS) and ensure compliance.
• Oversee Departmental Security Health Check (DSHC) Physical section.
• Provide strategic direction for physical security improvements.
• Maintain Level 2 Physical Security Assurance across estates.
