Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a Head of People to partner with senior leaders, drive organisational change, and lead workforce strategy across a large healthcare organisation. This role blends home-based and office working with 2-3 days at head office and travel to sites.

You will lead a strategic HR function, overseeing workforce planning, employee relations, and talent management, and work with unions. CIPD qualified senior HR leader with experience in complex environments is sought.

Qualifications

• Significant experience partnering with senior executives and operational leaders within a large complex organisation.
• Proven track record of leading large-scale organisational change and workforce transformation.
• Strong experience of workforce planning, organisational development and employee relations.
• Experience working collaboratively with recognised trade unions.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, influencing and coaching skills.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret workforce data and translate insight into action.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership teams to develop and deliver people strategies aligned to business priorities.
• Lead complex organisational change and transformation programmes.
• Develop workforce plans that support current and future organisational needs.
• Drive talent management, succession planning and leadership capability initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including trade union partners.
• Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters and employment legislation.
• Use workforce data and insights to identify risks, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Lead and develop a high-performing People team.
• Champion continuous improvement, innovation and employee engagement across the organisation.
