Job summary

Saltus is seeking a Head of People Management to lead the People partnering function and act as the senior escalation point for complex employee relations. You will collaborate with the Head of People Operations and the broader leadership team to drive organisational design, culture and performance across the business.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in HR, with extensive senior business partner experience in a fast-growth environment.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years’ HR experience.
• Significant experience in a senior HR business partner role.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high growth organisation.
• Ideally experience in a regulated environment.
• Excellent ER and employment legislation knowledge.
• Experience of managing and developing other HR professionals.
• Experience of M&A activity.
• Strong stakeholder relationships at all levels.
• CIPD membership (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead the People business partnering function with proactive, value-adding support to managers and leaders.
• Provide leadership to the team of People Managers and set priorities and standards for high quality partnering.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex employee relations cases.
• Oversee end-to-end employee relations management with fair, compliant outcomes.
• Support M&A by leading people integration post-completion.
• Partner with leaders on organisational design and workforce planning.
• Lead succession planning and development for critical roles.
• Drive leadership development and performance coaching.
• Implement and own performance management framework.
• Champion continuous feedback, high performance and employee engagement.
• Support change, restructuring and transformation across the organisation.
• Identify risks/opportunities from people insights and ER trends.
