Job summary

Everything Tech Group is seeking an experienced Head of HR to shape and lead the people strategy in a growing UK MSP. You will provide strategic and hands-on leadership to the HR team while partnering with senior leaders on people implications of business decisions.

The role focuses on organisational design, culture, engagement and retention, with responsibility for performance, reward, governance and policy compliance across the business.

Qualifications

• Substantial senior-level generalist HR experience, accountable for the broader people agenda.
• Experience in developing and delivering a people strategy aligned with organisational priorities.
• Experience building leadership capability and managing HR teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the organisation’s people strategy aligned with growth and commercial objectives.
• Translate business plans into clear people priorities, actions and measures.
• Provide senior leaders with practical, evidence-based advice on workforce capability and risks.
• Contribute to business planning, budgeting and strategic decision-making.
• Ensure HR investments are proportionate, sustainable and linked to outcomes.
• Maintain understanding of how people practices drive service quality, productivity and growth.
• Advise on organisation structures, spans of control, reporting lines and role design.
• Lead people aspects of organisational change, restructuring and transformation programmes.
• Define and strengthen culture, engagement and retention strategies.
• Coach leaders to own people management responsibilities with fairness and consistency.
• Develop a practical management capability framework and address capability gaps.
• Plan workforce and succession, balancing recruitment needs with capability gaps.
• Lead inclusive recruitment strategy and improve candidate experience.
• Oversee onboarding and probation processes to integrate new staff quickly.
• Monitor recruitment metrics and early retention.
