Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Head of People Development (Operations) to drive strategic training and talent initiatives across the UK. You will lead multiple teams to design, deliver and evaluate a diverse range of development programmes aligned to Veolia's Green up strategy.

You will upskill and reskill staff to meet a highly skilled workforce and report to the People Development Director, coordinating with stakeholders and maintaining governance across UK&I learning initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing large scale programmes including apprenticeships.
• Experience leading and managing high performing teams.
• Experience using digital systems and apprenticeship portals.
• Knowledge of government apprenticeship framework and governance.
• Strong stakeholder management at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead upskilling and reskilling across Veolia's workforce.
• Manage a team of Learning, Development and Digital specialists.
• Design, build and deploy People Development programmes aligned to the business strategy.
• Assess organisational needs and evaluate programme delivery.
