Job summary

Polypipe Limited is seeking an experienced Head of Payroll to lead the Group payroll function, ensuring colleagues are paid accurately, on time and in full compliance with UK legislation. You will manage a team of four payroll professionals, oversee UK payroll operations and governance across international activities.

Reporting to the Group Reward Director, you will drive payroll transformation through technology, automation and process optimisation, partnering with People & Culture, Finance,

Qualifications

• Senior payroll leadership experience in a large organisation.
• Expert knowledge of UK PAYE, NI, pensions and statutory payments.
• Experience with payroll systems, projects and process improvements.
• Strong governance, controls and audit experience in payroll.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll across the group delivering accurate, on-time pay.
• Ensure UK compliance and annual year-end payroll processes.
• Drive payroll transformation with technology and automation.
• Partner with People & Culture, Finance, Tax and HRIS.
