Slim Chickens is seeking a hands-on Multi-Site Operations Manager to oversee performance across our Uxbridge locations and additional sites. You’ll lead General Managers, drive commercial performance and ensure brand standards, food quality and guest experience.

Reporting to the Director of Exultant, you’ll visit sites regularly, develop management teams and implement improvements to boost sales, profitability and operational excellence across multiple restaurants in the UK.

• Proven experience in multi-site operations or area management within hospitality or quick-service restaurants.
• Ability to lead and develop General Managers across locations.
• Strong commercial mindset with track record of improving sales and profitability.
• Excellent leadership, communication and decision-making skills.”

Operations Manager – Slim Chickens

Location: Uxbridge and other locations TBC | 45 Hours Per Week | Start Date: ASAP

Slim Chickens brings Southern hospitality and freshly prepared, hand-breaded chicken to the fast-casual dining scene. We're looking for an ambitious, motivated and hands-on Operations Manager who can help drive our restaurant forward.

What's the role all about?

As our Multi-Site Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing the performance and operations of multiple Slim Chickens restaurants.

Working closely with General Managers across your sites, you'll provide leadership, guidance and support to ensure each restaurant operates to the highest standards. You'll be responsible for driving commercial performance, developing management teams and creating a consistent experience for both our guests and employees. This role reports directly to the Director of Exultant.

This is a hands-on, field-based role requiring regular visits to your restaurants and the ability to bring out the best in every team.

What you’ll be doing:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations and performance of multiple restaurant locations.

• Supporting, coaching and developing General Managers to achieve their full potential.

• Driving sales growth, profitability and overall commercial performance across all sites.

• Monitoring key business metrics, including labour costs, food costs, stock control and wastage.

• Ensuring consistent brand standards, food quality, cleanliness and customer service across every restaurant.

• Identifying operational opportunities and implementing improvements to drive performance.

• Leading recruitment, retention and succession planning across your sites.

• Ensuring compliance with food safety, health and safety and company procedures.

• Conducting regular restaurant visits and operational reviews.

• Building a strong management culture that encourages accountability, teamwork and high performance.

• Working closely with senior leadership to deliver business objectives and support future expansion.

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in a multi-site operations or area management role within hospitality, QSR or the restaurant industry.

• Experience overseeing multiple locations and managing General Managers.

• A strong commercial mindset with a track record of improving sales and profitability.

• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop management teams.

• Strong understanding of labour management, food costs, stock control and operational performance.

• A hands‑on approach with the ability to identify problems and deliver practical solutions.

• Excellent communication, organisation and decision‑making skills.

• Flexibility to travel between restaurant locations as required.
