Job summary

Jayne Pierce Tourism is seeking a Head of Operations to lead our luxury travel operations from home base with a London hub, offering a hybrid and flexible pattern.

You will own end-to-end trip confirmations, coordinate amendments and cancellations with hotels, private guides, chauffeurs and on-the-ground suppliers, and build or refine processes to keep delivery exceptional as we scale.

Qualifications

• Background in operations as an Operations Manager or Head of Operations within luxury travel, a DMC or tour operator.
• DMC background is a real bonus, but strong tour operating experience is welcome.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• Comfortable juggling multiple projects and building or improving processes from scratch.

Head of Operations - Home Based/London/Hybrid/Flexible

This is a genuinely exciting one. Our client is a young, fast-growing luxury travel DMC creating bespoke, beautifully curated trips. Every single piece of business they've won to date has come through recommendation and referral. No advertising, no cold outreach, just word of mouth from clients and suppliers who love working with them. That tells you everything you need to know about the quality of what they do.

They've deliberately kept things small, and they intend to stay that way. It's one built around doing exceptional work, looking after its team properly and keeping things genuinely enjoyable.

You’ll take charge of trip confirmations end-to-end once a booking is secured, coordinating amendments and cancellations across hotels, private guides, chauffeurs and other on-the-ground suppliers.

We’re looking for someone with a background in operations either as a Operations Manager or Head of Operations within luxury travel, a DMC or tour operator. A DMC background would be a real bonus, but strong tour operating experience is just as welcome. You’ll need to be highly organised with genuinely exceptional attention to detail, comfortable juggling multiple projects at once, and confident building or improving processes from scratch.

Being a small, close-knit team, they’re flexible on working patterns and days, though this is ultimately a full time role. It’s home-based unless you’re within commutable distance of their London office, where the team gets together three days a week.
