Job summary

Urenco is seeking a Head of Operational Excellence at Capenhurst to lead the site’s transformation through Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement. You will embed an high-performance culture, drive improvement programmes and standardised systems, and certify sustainable performance gains across safety, quality, delivery and cost.

The role requires senior leadership, cross-functional influence, and a proven record of delivering major cost savings within a complex industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Significant leadership experience in Operational Excellence, continuous improvement, or business transformation.
• Proven track record of delivering substantial and sustainable cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and embed the site’s Operational Excellence strategy aligned to business objectives.
• Create a culture of continuous improvement and operational discipline.
• Establish operational excellence as a core leadership expectation across the organisation.
• Champion employee engagement in improvement initiatives across site functions.
• Act as the site SME for Lean, Six Sigma, and Performance Excellence.
