Position: Head of Nursery, Renfrew Street (Term Time)

Location: 256 Renfrew Street, Glasgow, G3 6TT

Are you an experienced Early Years professional seeking the next step in your career? We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Head of Nursery for a term-time position in Glasgow's North West. We will support you in inspiring the development and learning of our youngest learners and in managing a well-established, friendly, and successful nursery.

About the Role: You will oversee the daily management and leadership of the nursery, ensuring effective service delivery. Your responsibilities include setting and promoting best practices and developing nursery team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver an inclusive and diverse early years' service effectively.
  • Lead, develop, and support a team to meet the needs of children and the service, fostering collegiate practice and teamwork.
  • Ensure high-quality curriculum delivery and development to enhance attainment, supporting the nursery management team and staff.
  • Analyze service delivery, proactively plan for future needs and changes aligned with local and national requirements.
  • Collaborate with other establishments and stakeholders to improve outcomes and develop strategies supporting family wellbeing and learning.
  • Support the wellbeing of children, parents/carers, and nursery staff.

What We Seek:

  • Confident, highly motivated, with strong relationship management skills and a proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, with demonstrated leadership and influencing qualities at a senior level.
  • Knowledge and experience in children's curriculum, learning, and development at early years level.
  • Commitment to supporting inclusion and diversity, with awareness of relevant legislation.
  • BA Childhood Practice or equivalent qualification is essential.

What We Offer:

  • Annual term-time salary ranging from £46,253.35 to £53,695.53.
  • 35 hours per week, flexible on a rota basis between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm during term time.
