Term Time Teachers Ltd is assisting a highly regarded Prep School in Sevenoaks in appointing a Head of Mathematics for maternity cover from January 2027. The role involves leading the Maths Department across Upper KS2 and KS3 while maintaining high teaching standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong Maths teaching experience, leadership or departmental responsibility, and excellent communication and organisational skills, with a commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing the Mathematics Department.

• Monitoring pupil progress and using data effectively.
• Preparing pupils for external assessments and senior school destinations, including scholarships.
• Liaising with the Pre-Prep to ensure strong curriculum continuity.
• Contributing to the wider academic and pastoral life of the school.
• Teaching Mathematics across Upper KS2 and KS3.

Academics are delighted to be supporting a highly regarded Prep School in Sevenoaks, with whom we work very closely, in the appointment of a Head of Mathematics for maternity cover from January 2027.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic Mathematics teacher to lead a successful department across Upper KS2 and KS3, while continuing to inspire pupils and promote high standards of teaching and learning.
