Job summary

Hanham Woods Academy is seeking a Head of Maths to lead and develop the Maths department across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will oversee curriculum design, teaching and assessment strategies to drive high standards and student achievement.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, communication and organisational skills and will inspire a team of dedicated maths teachers in a supportive community setting in Bristol.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children and young people.
• Experience of assimilating information to deliver lesson plans effectively.
• Knowledge and understanding of the curriculum.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good organisational and administrative abilities.
