The Headteacher is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Head of Maths to join this thriving specialist SEMH School. Responsible to the Assistant Headteacher, you will be an enthusiastic, flexible, and determined individual who shares our values and is looking to develop their career in this specialist area.
Ideally, we are looking for a qualified Teacher of Maths with a few years' experience; however, we will happily consider applications from NQTs who have the ambition and desire. Experience within an SEMH/SEN specialist provision is desirable but not essential; we are open to applications from those working in mainstream or college settings.
Subject specialism is essential, as is knowledge of the current curriculum. Training and development will be provided based on the school's needs, the candidate's skills, and career aspirations.
Westbourne School caters to pupils aged 11-18, with a capacity of 85 pupils across two sites. You will be responsible for planning and delivering various subjects, with differentiation and individualised learning strategies essential to meet diverse needs.
