Job summary

Irlam and Cadishead Academy seeks a highly motivated Head of Mathematics to drive leadership and improvement within the maths department. You will work with senior leaders to ensure high-quality teaching, effective use of maths resources, and improved standards in learning outcomes.

The role includes leading curriculum development, staff coaching, and ensuring safeguarding and wellbeing across the maths team. An enhanced DBS check is expected for successful applicants.

Qualifications

• Lead the mathematics department to deliver high-quality teaching and improved student outcomes.
• Coordinate resource use and curriculum planning to raise standards in maths.
• Support senior leadership in driving school-wide improvements.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated and effective Head of Mathematics to join an experienced and committed team of subject specialists.

To support in transforming leadership at all levels at Irlam and Cadishead Academy by working with the senior leadership team to ensure:

• High-quality teaching in Maths

• Improved standards of learning and outcomes in Maths
