Job Opening: Head of Maths

A popular, community-driven school in Lewisham is seeking a Head of Maths to join their team in September on a permanent basis.

This Ofsted-rated 'Good' school is not part of an academy. While their curriculum is well developed, there is scope for the new Head of Maths to make changes and develop with autonomy.

The school is a mixed comprehensive with 900 students across KS3 & KS4, following a Maths Mastery Curriculum. It benefits from modern facilities, staff enrichment, bespoke CPD opportunities, an excellent wellbeing policy, and promotes innovative teaching practices.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Maths Teacher with leadership experience or a current Head of Maths seeking a new challenge.

• Salary: MPS3-UPS3, Inner London Payscale, £42,536 - £60,092 + TLR1A £9,782
• Start: September 2025
• Full-time, permanent contract
