Celnor Group is seeking an experienced Materials Testing Laboratory Manager to lead our Inverness laboratory. The role oversees daily testing activities, develops the team, and ensures quality and accreditation standards are met in a busy, high-precision environment.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or equivalent in Materials Science, Civil Engineering, Chemistry or related field.
• Extensive experience in materials testing or lab environment.
• Previous laboratory leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of testing standards and methodologies.
• Experience with ISO/IEC 17025 quality systems.
• Experience managing personnel and workflows.

Aufgaben

• Lead day-to-day operation of the laboratory and ensure safe, efficient testing.
• Manage resources, workloads and staffing to meet customer turnaround times.
• Provide technical leadership across materials testing activities.
• Review and authorise test reports and technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with testing standards and methodologies.
• Maintain ISO/IEC 17025 quality management system.
• Coordinate audits and accreditation reviews.
• Develop equipment calibration and maintenance plans.
• Lead investigations into non-conformities and complaints.
