Head of Marketing | Live Events (Spoken Word)

Location: London | Permanent

Are you experienced in marketing for live ticketed events? Do you want to lead a small team and develop marketing strategies for a dynamic portfolio of UK-wide spoken word events? This is an exciting opportunity!

Our partner: A market leader in producing and curating online and live spoken word events.

Responsibilities:

  1. Marketing Leadership & Strategy: Lead the marketing team, manage workflows, optimize project delivery, and ensure consistent brand messaging.
  2. Campaign Planning & Execution: Develop and implement strategies for tours and events, advise on pricing and ticketing, and lead late sales strategies.
  3. Performance & Stakeholder Management: Manage budgets, report on campaign performance, coordinate with partners and internal teams on logistics, and collaborate on digital marketing efforts.

Ideal candidate: Someone strategic yet hands-on, adaptable, with excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for live events.

  • Extensive senior marketing experience in live ticketed events.
  • Proven success managing marketing and ticketing teams across multiple venues or campaigns.
  • Strong knowledge of ticketing platforms and CRM systems.
  • Data-driven and commercially minded decision-making skills.
  • Experience with CRM system upgrades or migrations.
