Our mission is to create the most efficient, fair, and engaging trading experience on-chain. We're backed by some of the sharpest minds in crypto and are preparing for a major growth phase ahead of mainnet.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to lead and execute our go-to-market strategy, own our social media presence, and drive growth across the Monad ecosystem and beyond. You’ll be building the brand voice of Perpl from the ground up, crafting narratives that resonate with traders, DeFi natives, and ecosystem partners alike.

This role is ideal for a crypto-native marketer who knows how to build community, drive awareness, and turn social presence into real usage and loyalty. You should also be confident representing Perpl at industry events and coordinating conference activations that cut through the noise.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale our marketing strategy across social, ecosystem, community, and earned media
• Develop and manage a content calendar for Twitter, Telegram, and Discord, focusing on trader education, campaign engagement, and ecosystem news
• Launch and run high-impact marketing campaigns tied to points programs, trading competitions, and liquidity incentives
• Be the voice of Perpl across channels, writing and editing tweets, threads, memes, blog posts, and partner announcements
• Cultivate relationships with Monad ecosystem partners, influencers, trading communities, and DeFi media
• Coordinate and host events at major crypto conferences, including side events, panels, and ecosystem meetups
• Manage event logistics and activations with support from internal and external teams
• Collaborate with product, design, and community to ship cohesive messaging for all initiatives
• Hire and manage marketing contributors/agencies as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in crypto marketing (ideally for a DEX, DeFi protocol, or trading platform)
• Deep understanding of DeFi, perpetuals, and the trader/investor mindset
• Track record of growing social media accounts and community engagement in crypto
• Exceptional copywriting and narrative-building ability (threads, memes, announcements)
• Experience coordinating or promoting points-based campaigns or liquidity programs
• Experience organizing and representing brands at crypto events or conferences
• Familiarity with the Monad ecosystem is a strong plus
• Comfortable in fast-paced, early-stage environments
• Self-directed, scrappy, and execution-oriented

Bonus Points

• Relationships with key DeFi KOLs or trading groups
• Experience with Web3 tools like Galxe, Layer3, Zealy
• Background in analytics, growth hacking, or marketing automation
• Previous contributions to launch campaigns or token events
