We are looking for a dynamic and creative marketing professional with a passion for arts and live performance to lead a busy Marketing team. The role objectives are to build the venue’s profile, develop audiences and maximise box office income.

The venue is run as a registered charity under the name of Kings Place Music Foundation ((KPMF, charity number 1107839) and does not receive regular public funding. Income is generated through ticket sales, donations, grants, and the staging of world-class conferences and events.

The Role
The Head of Marketing & Communications at Kings Place Music Foundation acts as the ambassador for the organisation, driving brand awareness and forging valuable relationships. The role exists to nurture existing audiences and develop diverse new ones while maximising brand exposure and box office income for the Kings Place programme.
Reporting to the Director of Audiences, the Head of Marketing will develop and implement Kings Place’s Marketing and Communications strategy. They will play a central role in building the brand profile, honing effective marketing processes, and achieving audience development targets.
The Head of Marketing will work closely with the Programme and Visitor Services departments with the objective of communicating the KPMF mission and values from the digital to the in-person customer journey.
The Person
This is an exciting opportunity for a creative and experienced arts marketer. Used to working on ticketed events, you will thrive in the exciting and fast-paced environment of a live music and arts venue. A confident and supportive team manager, you will lead a team running multi-channel marketing campaigns.
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 depending on qualifications and experience=
Working Pattern: Kings Place operates a hybrid working model. The role is partially venue based, for meetings, collaborative working and events. Administrative work can be done remotely. Staff work approximately 60% on site and 40% WFH, but this is open to flexibility.
This role is open to flexible working arrangements after successful completion of a probation period.
