They are now looking for a Head of Marketing and Communications to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working from our offices in EC3, with some flexibility for hybrid working and occasional UK travel.

The Benefits

- Salary of circa £50,000 per annum

- Access to BUPA health benefits, including dental support

- Hybrid working – a mix of office and home-based

- Exceptional training and development opportunities

This is a fantastic opportunity to take full ownership of the marketing function in a respected and growing trade association, shaping strategy and delivery across digital, print, events, and member communications.

You’ll work directly with a forward-thinking leadership team in a supportive environment that values creativity, initiative, and ideas, giving you the space to drive campaigns and elevate our client’s profile.

What’s more, you’ll benefit from hybrid working, strong professional development support, and exposure to a dynamic, fast-evolving sector that’s at the heart of the UK’s transition to a low-carbon economy.

So, if you’re a first-class marketing professional ready to take on this exciting challenge, our client wants to hear from you!

The Role

As the Head of Marketing and Communications, you’ll lead the development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across all areas of our client’s work, ensuring member services and sector initiatives are effectively promoted and communicated.

This is a high profile role with exposure at board level, across the electrotechnical sector and in the wider construction industry

Working closely with the CEO, a junior marketing colleague, and the wider team, you will take ownership of short and long-term strategies, manage campaign delivery, and play an active role in digital content, events, publications, press, and social media.

You’ll manage key channels including the Salesforce CRM, websites, e-newsletters, publications, and LinkedIn presence, drawing on your skills in campaign planning, content development, and analytics to ensure performance and engagement across our client’s growing community.

About You

To be considered as the Head of Marketing and Communications, you will need:

- Experience in a busy marketing team, ideally within a B2B or service-led environment

- Experience with LinkedIn and content co-ordination for social platforms

- Experience in campaign planning, e-marketing, analytics, and lead generation

- Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress), Google Analytics, and SEO

- Strong knowledge of Salesforce and CRM-driven campaigns

- Confident copywriting and content development skills

- An understanding of data accuracy, brand consistency, and press/media liaison

- Excellent attention to detail and strong project co-ordination skills

- The ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously

A proactive mindset, positive attitude, and the ability to think creatively and strategically will be essential in this role. You’ll be keen to take initiative, make data-led decisions, and represent our client with confidence.
