Based in Northern Ireland, we’re expanding rapidly and looking for a strategic, hands-on Head of Marketing to lead our brand’s next stage of growth.

Role Overview

As Head of Marketing, you will define and execute the brand and growth strategy for Wavey Ice, playing a pivotal role in building and shaping our growth. This role will require youto develop and execute marketing strategies that resonate locally and globally, ensuring Wavey Ice becomes a household name in the premium drinks market. You’ll work closely with the executive team to build brand equity, drive revenue, and ensure a consistent, compelling message across all touchpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead the overall marketing strategy to support local and international growth.
• Align marketing goals with company objectives through data-driven planning and execution.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to keep the brand relevant and competitive.

Brand Development

• Develop and own the brand strategy and ensure a consistent, premium positioning across all platforms.
• Oversee the development of compelling brand narratives in line with strategy
• Lead brand evolution while staying rooted in core values of quality and authenticity.

Content & Creative Direction

• Guide the development of high-impact content across a range of different formats.
• Ensure storytelling is aligned with brand tone, audience expectations, and business goals.
• Collaborate with the creative team to bring the brand vision to life.

Digital & Performance Marketing

• Lead digital marketing strategies, including paid media, SEO/SEM, CRM, and analytics.
• Optimise marketing funnels to improve acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• Evaluate and implement the right mix of platforms, tools, and channels for performance to be ready for scaling.

Community & Experiential Marketing

• Champion local community engagement through partnerships, events, and grassroots activations.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders including influencers, collaborators, and brand advocates.
• Oversee the marketing of events such as tastings, pop-ups, and international showcases.

Global Growth Enablement

• Develop go-to-market strategies for international expansion in collaboration with distributors and partners.
• Localise messaging and marketing strategies to resonate with different markets.
• Research and propose events beneficial industry events for Wavey Ice to attend

Leadership & Team Building

• Build and lead a high-performing marketing team and manage external relationships.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide regular insights and performance reports to the leadership team.

Qualifications & Experience

• 5+ years in a senior marketing role, ideally in FMCG, beverage, or lifestyle sectors.
• Proven success in brand building, campaign execution, and digital performance marketing.
• Experience launching or scaling brands internationally is a strong advantage.
• Skilled in using marketing tools, analytics platforms (e.g. Meta Ads Manager, Klaviyo, Google Analytics), and content software.
