Job summary

Southwark Council seeks a Head of Operations to establish and lead a new Digital and Resident Experience Service. You will build a capable team, set culture and ways of working, and ensure smooth services for residents, communities and colleagues in London.

You will oversee technology operations across cloud, networks, infrastructure and end-user computing, and run IT service delivery including the Service Desk to deliver reliable, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Proven track record leading technology operations in large, complex organisations.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a multidisciplinary operations team within Southwark’s Digital and Resident Experience.
• Lead delivery of technology operations across cloud platforms, networks, infrastructure and end user computing.
• Oversee IT service delivery functions including the Service Desk to ensure a responsive, high-quality service.
