Places for People is seeking a Head of IT Operations to lead the Technology Support Team and oversee the organisation's IT infrastructure, systems and day-to-day technology operations. You will manage incidents, ensure service levels, and report root causes while upholding PCI-DSS and data protection standards.

Based at The Gurney Office, Camberley (Watchmoor Park, Camberley, Surrey, GU15 3YL), this role requires 3 on-site days per week, with collaboration across the IT Director and external

Qualifications

• Senior IT operations leadership with direct management of a technical team.
• Experience across servers, cloud, hardware, and networks including remote locations.
• Proven incident management, root-cause analysis and service delivery to SLAs.
• Experience implementing IT security/compliance controls (firewalls, GDPR/PCI-DSS).
• Led technology improvement initiatives and managed third-party suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Technology Support Team and oversee IT infrastructure and day-to-day operations.
• Ensure incidents are resolved efficiently and security/compliance standards maintained.
• Collaborate with IT Director and external suppliers; shape strategy and deliver projects.
• Continuously improve support services for colleagues and customers.
