Job summary

Tria is seeking a Head of IT for Defence in the UK. The role is hybrid with Glasgow or Aberdeen locations, and involves leading a global IT function within a fast-growing defence division renowned for specialised capabilities across maritime defence.

You will own the technology agenda, drive transformation, and partner with senior leaders to deliver secure, scalable IT across cyber, infrastructure, applications and ERP as the business expands in the UK, US and APAC.

Qualifications

• Significant senior IT leadership experience within Defence or a closely related highly regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of Defence cyber, security and customer requirements.
• Experience operating in complex, federated or multi-division organisations.
• Broad IT leadership capability across cyber, infrastructure, applications, architecture and service delivery.
• A track record of delivering technology transformation and modernisation.
• Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence at senior level.

Responsibilities

• Own and shape the technology agenda for the Defence division.
• Lead a global IT team and partner with senior business and Group technology leadership.
• Drive cyber security capability development and embed security into bids and programmes.
• Modernise legacy estate across infrastructure, applications and ERP transformations.
• Establish strong service delivery, KPIs and operational discipline.
• Create a roadmap aligned to ambitious international growth.
