Job summary

Prevail Partners seeks a Head of Intelligence to lead, develop and grow its Intelligence capability across UK government, international and commercial clients. Based in London, you will guide the strategy, standards and governance for intelligence outputs while not managing day-to-day tasking.

You will oversee multiple teams, drive client engagement, and help advance analytical capability, ensuring high-quality outputs, risk management and growth across markets.

Qualifications

• Significant senior intelligence experience gained in UK government, military or policing intelligence.
• Proven experience delivering intelligence commercially, in a consultancy, managed service and comparable private sector environment.
• Experience building, leading and scaling an intelligence capability with accountability for analytical standards.
• Deep knowledge of the intelligence cycle, collection and requirements management, and structured analytical techniques.
• Strong open source intelligence and data-led analysis skills and related tooling.
• Awareness of legal/compliance frameworks: RIPA; UK GDPR; Data Protection Act considerations.
• Demonstrated success in business development and client growth.
• Experience leading senior teams and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions.
• Experience overseeing complex programmes or client portfolios.
• Eligible for UK Security Check (SC) clearance; residency in UK for 5 years.
• Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Set and deliver the direction for Prevail's Intelligence capability and act as its senior accountable leader.
• Establish and maintain analytical standards, tradecraft, QA and governance for the function.
• Lead and develop intelligence delivery leads and senior analysts across teams.
• Oversee intelligence contracts and programmes, monitor performance and delivery risk.
• Ensure intelligence embedded in wider operations is resourced and governed to the same standards.
• Lead workforce and succession planning with career pathways for analysts at all levels.
• Develop intelligence tooling and technical capabilities and improve existing tech.
• Drive business growth by identifying opportunities and leading client engagements.
