Job summary

Richmond and Wandsworth Councils are seeking a Head of Integrated Enforcement to lead a borough-wide team including the council funded policing element, driving a visible, intelligence-led approach to tackle anti-social behaviour and environmental crime across the borough.

You will report to the Director of Public Protection, manage enforcement contracts, and coordinate with the Partnership Police and external agencies to ensure resources are deployed where they have the greatest impact.

Qualifications

• Extensive management experience in enforcement, including budget and resource planning.
• Experience in partnership / community working.
• Experience handling criminal and civil enforcement end-to-end from investigation to prosecution.
• Strong relationship-building and community communication skills.
• Current and valid CSAS certificate (or will pass during probation).

Responsibilities

• Lead the Integrated Enforcement Team (IET) and oversee S92 policing arrangements.
• Manage contracts and relationships with external enforcement agencies.
• Provide strategic leadership for enforcement, intelligence, and tasking.
• Drive joined-up, intelligence-led approaches to anti-social behaviour and environmental crime.
• Build strong relations with elected Members, officers, partners and communities.
• Deliver visible outcomes and regular briefings to senior stakeholders.
