Code Wizards is seeking a proactive, dynamic, and experienced Head of IT to lead a new division within our company. This role involves managing IT security and compliance, ensuring secure, efficient operations aligned with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience from the games industry and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead the IT team in implementing security measures and managing IT operations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver exceptional IT services.
• Establish and develop the new IT division, engaging in hands-on tasks as needed.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, manage incident responses, and monitor security.
• Configure consoles and development kits (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo) with multiple network connections.
• Negotiate SLAs with clients and maintain relationships with studios.
• Gather and analyze user feedback to continuously improve IT services.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Passion for and knowledge of games, from professional experience or personal interest.
• Background in a managed service provider environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and active involvement in IT operations.
• Experience managing and securing Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Forms, InTune, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Experience leading teams and managing a service desk.

Nice to Have

• Proven experience in the games industry.
• Experience working with gaming publishers.
• Background in outsourced IT management.
• Knowledge of incident response protocols and monitoring tools.
• Experience in collecting user feedback for service improvements.
• Strong negotiation skills for SLAs.
• Knowledge of CoPilot, especially for security.
• Familiarity with Azure and/or AWS.
• Experience with Perforce.
• Knowledge of GPU and consumer gaming hardware.
