Job summary

Mattioli Woods is seeking a Head of Information Security to lead our security strategy at a CISO level. This hybrid role sits with the CIO and involves shaping the program across risk, compliance and technology teams.

You'll own the information security framework, drive incident response readiness, and engage with regulators (FCA) on security matters. You will lead a dedicated security function and play a key role in M&A due diligence.

Qualifications

• Senior InfoSec or CISO experience in regulated financial services.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and incident response.
• Ability to translate security risk into clear board-level communication.
• Experience with M&A security due diligence is a plus.

Cyber risk is one of the most important challenges facing financial services - and we're ready to invest in theleadership to tackle it properly.

Mattioli Woods is hiring a Head of Information Security to lead and evolve our security capability at a strategic level. This is a new, dedicated CISO-level role that reflects how seriously we take our responsibilities to clients, regulators and the business.

What you'll be doing:

You'll take ownership of our information security and cyber strategy - setting the framework, building the culture and ensuring we have the controls, processes and expertise to stay ahead of a rapidly evolving threat landscape.

That includes leading our response to cyber risk, building our relationship with the FCA on security-related matters and playing an active role in acquisition due diligence - assessing the security posture of businesses we bring into the group.

You'll lead a dedicated security team and work closely with IT, Risk, Compliance and the wider business to embed security thinking across everything we do.

You'll bring:

• Senior InfoSec or CISO experience, ideally in a regulated financial services environment
• Deep knowledge of cyber risk, incident response and security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIST)
• Credibility with regulators - you'll be comfortable in FCA conversations and understand what good looks like from a compliance perspective
• Experience of Information Security program delivery
• The ability to translate complex security risk into clear board-level communication
• Experience of M&A security due diligence is a strong plus
