Job summary

Mattioli Woods is seeking a Head of Information Security to lead our security strategy at a CISO level. This hybrid role sits with the CIO and involves shaping the program across risk, compliance and technology teams.

You'll own the information security framework, drive incident response readiness, and engage with regulators (FCA) on security matters. You will lead a dedicated security function and play a key role in M&A due diligence.

Qualifications

• Senior InfoSec or CISO experience in regulated financial services.
• Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST) and incident response.
• Ability to translate security risk into clear board-level communication.
• Experience with M&A security due diligence is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own information security and cyber strategy at a strategic level.
• Lead response to cyber risk and FCA-related matters.
• Lead a dedicated security team and collaborate with IT, Risk, Compliance and the wider business.
• Support acquisition due diligence by assessing security posture.
