Job summary

World Land Trust is seeking an experienced technology and information governance leader to shape our future. As Head of Information Governance & Technology Delivery, you will translate strategy into delivery, oversee governance, cyber security, and information management, and partner with senior leaders and external partners to maximise impact.

• Experience leading technology, information governance or related disciplines.
• Proven programme management and project delivery capabilities.

• Experience in cyber security and information governance activities.
• Experience reporting to senior leadership or governance committees.
• People leadership and performance management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of Information Governance and Training Strategy and roadmap.
• Ensure governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement across programmes and projects.
• Provide assurance on cyber security, information governance, operational risk and system controls.
• Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
• Inspire and develop a multidisciplinary Information Governance and Technology team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone ready to step into a Head of Service role, or for an established leader looking to use their expertise in an organisation where technology and information governance directly support a meaningful mission. As Head of Information Governance & Technology Delivery, you will lead the delivery of our Information Governance & Technology Strategy and roadmap, ensuring programmes, projects and service improvements are effectively planned, governed and embedded across the organisation. Acting as the bridge between strategic ambition and operational delivery, you will provide leadership, assurance and oversight while working closely with senior leaders, colleagues and external partners to drive sustainable organisational change.

What you'll be doing

• Leading the delivery of our Information Governance and Training Strategy and roadmap.
• Driving successful programme and project delivery through strong governance, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
• Providing assurance across cyber security, information governance, operational risk and system controls.
• Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation and externally.
• Leading, developing and inspiring a multidisciplinary Information Governance and Technology team.
