Job summary

Pertemps Thames Water seeks a Head of Instrumentation, Control & Automation Engineering in Reading. This senior role leads the ICA discipline during a major transformation, with hybrid working and a salary up to £100,000 depending on experience.

You will act as Technical Authority across the asset lifecycle, develop ICA strategy and standards, review complex designs, mentor the team and represent Thames Water in industry forums.

Qualifications

• Degree in an engineering discipline relevant to ICA.
• Chartered Engineer status or equivalent professional standing.
• Significant experience leading ICA engineering teams in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as Technical and Design Authority for ICA with engineering assurance.
• Establish ICA strategy, standards, specifications and policies.
• Define long-term vision for control systems, telemetry and OT.
• Provide independent technical assurance across asset lifecycle.
• Review and approve complex ICA designs and solutions.
• Lead investigations and advise on engineering risks and issues.
