Job summary

Go Traffic Management Limited seeks a Divisional Head of HSEQ to lead health, safety, environment and quality across water, energy and gas contracts. You will drive corporate HSEQ strategy, embed continuous improvement, and ensure regulatory alignment across national portfolios.

Reporting to the division director, you will manage a team of HSEQ Managers and Advisors, lead major incident investigations, and deliver timely management information to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Senior HSEQ leadership with managing large multi-contract teams.
• Experience in multi-sector, high-risk operational environments.
• Proven lead investigator for major HSEQ incidents.
• NEBOSH Diploma or degree equivalent and environmental qualifications.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement.
• Advanced data analysis and rigorous report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development and implementation of multi-contract HSEQ plans.
• Oversee HSEQ risk identification, assessment and management across contracts.
• Manage a team of HSEQ Managers and Advisors with clear roles.
• Act as lead investigator for major HSEQ incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Produce management information reports and identify improvement opportunities.
• Report to clients and stakeholders with transparent, compliant updates.
• Maintain the assurance framework monitoring HSEQ controls.
• Contribute to group-wide initiatives with insights and innovations.
• Provide guidance on regulatory developments to stay compliant.
• Build relationships with enforcement authorities and industry bodies.
