Job summary

HC-One Ltd. is seeking a Head Housekeeper for a traditional 30-hour-per-week role in the UK.

The job centers on delivering compassionate care in Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist homes, guiding a housekeeping team, and maintaining high cleanliness standards with a focus on residents’ safety and well-being. You will plan rotas, lead by example, supervise laundry, manage supplies, and enforce infection control and COSHH measures.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience and team leadership skills.
• Organised and aware of Health & Safety and infection control.
• Friendly, positive and kind in every interaction.

Responsibilities

• Managing the cleaning rota and daily schedules.
• Leading by example and supporting your team.
• Overseeing laundry for personal and shared items.
• Ordering cleaning products and supplies.
• Following and updating infection control procedures.
• Keeping records and completing cleaning checks.
• Ensuring safety and COSHH guidelines are met.
