Job summary

The Streetly Academy welcomes applications from ambitious History specialists to join our Sixth Form team. You will lead innovative pedagogy and shape A-Level provision within a thriving academic community.

Qualifications

  • Exceptional subject knowledge with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • Sophisticated understanding of curriculum design across Intent, Implementation and Impact.
  • Qualified History specialist with recent A-Level experience desirable.
  • Comfort with technology-driven learning and 1:1 Chromebook program.

Responsibilities

  • Teach History at Post-16 and deliver our A-Level provision.
  • Lead and develop the History department to achieve outstanding student outcomes.
  • Plan and implement curriculum across Key Stages with an emphasis on independent learning.
  • Participate in CPD and contribute to school-wide improvement initiatives.
