Job Description:

Our client is a growing and successful service provider in the utilities industry, hiring for a Head of Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment (with emphasis on health & safety).

This is an exciting period of change with a growing workforce. The role involves leading HSQE across multiple sites in Hampshire, Sussex, and Kent, managing a team of currently 5 people, expected to grow by 1 or 2 in the next 6 months.

The company prioritizes HSQE, and the role includes:

• Providing leadership, guidance, and management in all Health & Safety matters to support company objectives.
• Overseeing the implementation and management of H&S policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace safety.
• Supporting the implementation and compliance of the Business Management System (BMS) according to industry standards and regulations.

The position requires working onsite 5 days a week across different sites. The ideal candidate will have managerial experience, charisma, and influence, capable of working with teams, senior leadership, workforce, and clients. Candidates are likely at the Manager level seeking to step up to Head of, or already at this level.

A diploma in Health & Safety, a full driving license, and significant subject matter expertise are required.
