Job summary

Industry & Commerce, a UK-listed group, seeks an ACA or equivalent to join as a senior finance leader. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will run a team and oversee IFRS annual/half-year statements and the external audit cycle.

You will manage UK and international subsidiary accounts, drive robust cashflow forecasting and provide liquidity and capital-structure insights while acting as the group’s technical accounting authority.

Qualifications

• ACA qualified or equivalent.
• Experience working in a listed business.
• Experience leading a finance team.
• Strong IFRS knowledge for annual reporting.

Responsibilities

• Produce Group IFRS annual and half-yearly financial statements/annual report.
• Lead year-end and external audit process and half-year review.
• Oversee subsidiary statutory accounts for UK and international entities.
• Own the Group cashflow forecasting process with liquidity, capital allocation and structure insight.
• Act as the Group’s primary technical accounting authority.

Job description

A FTSE listed business is looking to recruit an ACA (or equivalent) qualified candidate to join its business.

Reporting into the Group Finance Director this is a senior role in finance. Running a team, main duties include:

• Production of the Group IFRS annual and half yearly listed financial statements/annual report
• Lead the year and external audit process and half year external review process
• Oversee the production and filing of the subsidiary statutory accounts for UK and international entities
• Own the Group cashflow forecasting process, providing insight and analysis on liquidity, capital allocation and capital structure
• Act as the Group’s primary technical accounting authority

You will be ACA qualified (or equivalent) with experience working in a listed business in a similar role.

This is a broad role with a chance to get involved in projects in a well known business which continues to do well.
