Local Hospice Lottery is seeking a Head of Fundraising Operations to lead nationwide face-to-face fundraising teams and drive growth alongside the Director of Fundraising Sales.

We're now looking for an ambitious, inspiring and commercially minded Head of Fundraising Operations to lead our nationwide face-to-face fundraising teams and help drive the next stage of our growth alongside our Director of Fundraising Sales.
This is more than an operations role.
It's an opportunity to build high-performing teams, shape fundraising strategy, influence organisational success and ultimately increase the support available to hospices across the UK.
As our Head of Fundraising Operations, you'll be at the heart of our fundraising success.
Leading a team of Fundraising Sales Managers and overseeing fundraising activity across multiple regions, you'll create a culture where people thrive, performance excels and supporters feel inspired to join our cause.
You'll combine strategic thinking with hands‑on leadership, using data, insight and experience to maximise performance while developing and supporting colleagues every step of the way.
You’ll inspire, coach and develop Fundraising Sales Managers and their teams, helping them achieve ambitious fundraising targets while creating an engaging, supportive and high‑performing culture.
Using KPI reporting, fundraising data and operational insight, you’ll identify opportunities for growth, tackle challenges proactively and ensure fundraising targets are delivered consistently across the country.
Working closely with HR and recruitment colleagues, you’ll help ensure our fundraising teams are fully staffed, well‑trained and motivated to deliver outstanding results.
You’ll work closely with partner hospices, senior leaders and external fundraising partners, acting as an ambassador for Local Hospice Lottery and maintaining strong, positive relationships.
From developing new fundraising initiatives to supporting venue-based and roaming fundraising teams, you’ll play a key role in helping define what success looks like for fundraising operations nationally.
