A well-known insurance firm is seeking an Interim Head of Group FP&A to steer their budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead/manage comprehensive budgeting, forecasting and analytical functions at a group level
• Foster robust relationships with key business partners, providing challenge and insight
• Own the quarterly and annual earnings group results reporting process
• Provide commercial understanding to enable decision-making
• Lead the preparation of the annual Business Plan for the UK division and quarterly forecasts/reforecasts
• Coaching and mentoring the wider FP&A team

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Proven senior FP&A expertise within an insurance firm - life is preferred
• Qualified accountant
• Track record of managing a team
• Strong communication skills – the ability to speak through complex financial technical matters
• Balance sheet, financial planning and risk skills
