Job summary

Citizens Advice Liverpool is seeking a Head of Finance to lead the organisation's financial strategy, ensuring sustainability and impact for communities. You will be a trusted adviser to the CEO, Trustees and senior leaders, providing financial insight, strengthening performance and governance across the charity and its partners.

This role manages a small finance team, oversees planning, reporting and controls, and contributes to organisational strategy as part of the Senior Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Experience in charity finance and accounting under SORP.
• VAT management and compliance experience.
• Experience dealing with complex funding arrangements and restricted funds.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear financial insight to the CEO, Trustees and senior leaders.
• Lead a small finance team, oversee financial planning, reporting, compliance and controls.
• Support governance across the organisation and its partnerships.
