Job summary

IN2 Consult is seeking a Head of Finance and FP&A to join a high-growth, investor-backed software scale-up operating with a remote-first approach and a London presence. The role is hands-on and central to shaping the plan, telling the story behind performance and becoming the go-to finance partner for the CEO and leadership team.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and monthly management accounts, linking commercial pipeline data to the financials, running scenario analyses,

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with FP&A and group reporting experience.
• Experience in subscription/software business with ARR, retention, churn metrics.
• Experience in investor-backed/high-growth settings; close to CEO and investors.
• Strong Excel and modelling skills; data-driven.
• Keen on automation and new technology to improve finance operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget, in-year forecasts and long-term financial plan.
• Develop the financial model and reporting framework for leadership.
• Produce monthly management accounts and board/investor reporting.
• Track recurring revenue performance and link commercial pipeline data to the financials.
• Run what-if scenarios to support pricing, hiring and growth decisions.
• Oversee consolidation across international entities.
• Coordinate with external accountants and auditors on year-end, tax and intercompany matters.
• Monitor people costs and find ways to make finance faster and smarter.

Head of Finance and FP&A | Investor-Backed Technology Scale-Up | Remote First / London

I’m currently recruiting for a Head of FP&A to join a high-growth, investor-backed software business at an exciting stage of its journey.

The business has grown quickly and the numbers now matter more than ever. They need a commercially minded finance lead who can shape the plan, tell the story behind the performance and be the go-to person for the senior leadership team on anything financial.

It’s a hands-on role with real visibility, and you’ll shape how finance works as the business scales.

The role

• Leading the annual budget, in-year forecasts and the longer-term financial plan
• Developing the financial model and the reporting framework that leadership will rely on
• Producing monthly management accounts and the board and investor reporting
• Tracking recurring revenue performance and linking commercial pipeline data to the financials
• Running “what if” scenarios to support pricing, hiring and growth decisions
• Overseeing consolidation across a small group of international entities
• Working with the external accountants and auditors on year-end, and supporting tax and intercompany matters
• Keeping an eye on people costs across the group, and finding ways to make finance faster and smarter

About you

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with solid FP&A and group reporting experience
• Experience in a subscription or software business, comfortable with metrics like ARR, retention and churn
• Used to working in an investor-backed or high-growth setting, and happy being close to the CEO and investors
• Strong Excel and modelling skills, and comfortable getting into the data yourself
• Practical, proactive and keen to use automation and new technology to improve how the team works
