Job summary

Harvey John is recruiting for a newly created role on the outskirts of Brighton, in a private-equity backed environment, reporting to the Finance Director. You will lead all transactional finance and manage a small AP/AR team, driving change across processes and systems, and owning the General Ledger.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a transactional accounting team.
• Proven change management in a fast-growth business.
• Confident in driving change across processes and systems.
• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or equivalent experience.

This is an excellent, newly created role, driving change and growth within a fast-moving private-equity backed environment on the outskirts of Brighton.

This role is reporting into the Finance Director and leading on all aspects of transactional finance.

But this said, aside from leading a small team of AP/ AR professionals, you will be...

• Spearheading changes to processes/ systems
• Owning of General Ledger
• Supporting with month-end and year end activities
• Leading all AP and Billing activities
• Business Partnering with various departments across the group

The ideal candidate, will...

• Have strong/ solid experience of leading a transactional accounting team
• Enjoy change management, with experience of this within a complex, high-growth business
• Be confident driving change
• Be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)- though those that are qualified by experience but with LOTS of relevant experience in all other areas, will also be considered
• Have used Netsuite before (high desirable)
