Account Director at Campbell Brown Associates

An award-winning, PE-backed Creative Production company is seeking their first in-house FD/Head of Finance. Currently outsourcing accounting, the initial focus will be to establish all accounting systems and processes, then manage daily finances, provide strategic financial insights at the board level, and support commercial decision-making.

The role reports to the MD with a dotted line to the Group CFO. It is suitable for someone looking for 3-4 days a week, full-time, or spread across 4-5 days.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management: Oversee company finances, including accounts, budgets, and cash flow.
2. Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and present financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
3. Cash Flow Management: Monitor and optimize cash flow to ensure operational funding and investments.
4. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop budgets, track KPIs, and analyze financial data to inform decisions.
5. Financial Strategy and Planning: Create and implement strategies, policies, and procedures supporting growth and PE investor expectations.
6. Tax Planning and Compliance: Ensure tax compliance, manage liabilities, and advise on tax strategies.
7. Liaison with Stakeholders: Communicate and collaborate with departments, management, investors, and external parties on financial matters.

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
