Our client is a purpose driven, high growth holiday and leisure business with sustainability, innovation and exceptional guest experiences at the very heart of everything they do.
Following significant investment, the successful launch of their flagship destination, and continued expansion plans, the business now seeks to appoint a qualified and commercially minded Head of Finance to join their senior leadership team.
This is not your typical finance role.
Working closely with an experienced executive team, you will help shape the future of a rapidly growing organisation with ambitious acquisition plans, strong environmental values, and a genuine desire to do things differently.
The business offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement, although applicants must be able to commute regularly to Exeter. With ambitious plans to develop a national portfolio over the coming years, this role offers the opportunity to help shape the finance function of a business with genuine UK growth aspirations.
This is a broad and highly influential position, combining operational finance leadership with commercial support and strategic input. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight, support growth plans and ensure that robust financial controls and reporting processes are in place.
This opportunity will suit an experienced finance leader who enjoys working within growing businesses and wants to play a genuine role in shaping the future direction of an organisation.
Applicants must hold a recognised professional accountancy qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CIMA and will likely already be operating at Financial Controller, Head of Finance or Finance Director level within a commercially focused environment.
We would be particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience in hospitality, leisure, tourism or property sectors, multi-site businesses, high growth or entrepreneurial environments, investment, acquisitions or project-based environments, Commercial finance and business partnering, and working closely with senior leadership teams/external stakeholders
Most importantly, our client seeks an individual who can combine strong technical finance skills with commercial awareness, curiosity and the confidence to operate at board level. The ability to thrive within a fast moving, evolving environment and embrace both strategic and hands-on responsibilities will be essential.
