The position provides strategic influence with autonomy to lead the financial function of a growing organisation. Applicants must be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with senior-level finance experience, strong budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow skills, and the ability to present to senior stakeholders and the Board.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven senior-level finance experience within a varied and commercially focused environment.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, modelling, cash flow and management accounts.
• Confident presenting financial information to senior stakeholders and non-finance audiences.
• Strategic, commercially aware and detail-focused, with strong Excel or finance systems capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgets, forecasting and longer-term financial planning.
• Oversee cash flow, financial modelling and scenario planning.
• Review management accounts, reconciliations and financial performance.
• Deliver clear financial reporting and insight to the Board and senior leadership.
• Maintain strong financial controls, compliance and governance processes.
• Oversee VAT, statutory requirements, audit preparation and external advisers.
• Mentor and support the Assistant Accountant, ensuring high standards across the function.
• Provide financial insight across operational planning, commercial opportunities and key projects.
