Bristol Zoological Society is partnering with Morgan McKinley to recruit a Head of Finance. The role leads the day-to-day financial management for a charity, requiring tech-savvy finance leadership and advanced Excel modelling to support planning and reporting.

The ideal candidate is a Qualified Accountant (or QBE) with charity/not-for-profit experience, strong systems knowledge, and proven financial modelling track record. Hybrid working and potential four-day week are on offer.

• The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (or QBE) with charity or not-for-profit finance experience, or strong transferable experience and a good understanding of how charity finance works.
• You will need strong finance systems and advanced Excel skills, plus previous financial modelling experience to support financial planning and cash flow forecasting.

Morgan McKinley is delighted to be partnering exclusively with Bristol Zoological Society to recruit their new Head of Finance.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Finance and responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the charity, this role has a broad remit, and will require the successful candidate to be tech and IT savvy and confident using Excel based models.
