About the Role:

We have an exciting new vacancy for a Head of Finance to join our growing finance team at EG Group! This role involves driving our financial strategy and achieving business objectives. The successful candidate will be a key contact for the Country Finance Team and Senior Management, including our CFO, Group & Shared Service Teams, and Country MD.

The Head of Finance will be a proactive and knowledgeable leader who makes strategic decisions, problem-solves, improves processes, and consistently meets deadlines. We seek a resilient, forward-thinking individual who can implement change and lead from the front. Responsibilities include ensuring high-quality financial reporting, management accounts, compliance, risk mitigation, and issue resolution.

What you’ll be doing:

• Contributing to the achievement of company objectives by advising on financial strategy
• Partnering with management and shared services to drive financial performance and controls
• Building strong cross-functional relationships
• Focusing on YoY performance and key business drivers
• Ensuring accurate financial reporting and management accounts
• Overseeing management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and site reporting
• Supporting monthly board reporting and group submissions
• Leading the year-end audit process and statutory accounts preparation
• Developing internal audit programs and driving process improvements
• Collaborating on finance transformation and integration projects
• Driving operational improvements and team development

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified accountant – ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
• Significant post-qualification experience
• Extensive people management skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Experience managing large finance projects
• Understanding of IFRS16 accounting treatment
• Adaptability in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication and relationship skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
