Head of Finance

• 35 hours per week (Hybrid Working)

• Based in Rednal, Birmingham
We are seeking an experienced and qualified finance professional to lead the strategic financial management of the NASUWT. You will play a critical leadership role, overseeing all aspects of financial planning, reporting and compliance across the organisation, ensuring the highest standards of governance and accountability.
Working alongside a dedicated finance team, you will manage risk, lead the budgeting process, oversee investments and reserves, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide sound advice to senior leadership. You will also build effective working relationships with auditors, bankers and professional advisers.
We are looking for a credible, commercially astute leader with excellent analytical skills, who can demonstrate a strong track record of financial management and leadership, ideally within the public, voluntary or union sectors. You will be confident working with elected lay governance, committed to collaborative working, and capable of driving forward financial strategy with integrity and insight.
