Job summary

Edwards & Pearce Ltd. is seeking a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA finance professional for a challenging appointment. You will lead a small team, manage budgets and forecasts, oversee statutory accounts and audits, and drive improvements in financial systems.

You will communicate complex financial information to non-finance colleagues and ensure timely, accurate reporting while thriving in a collaborative culture within easy reach of Hull and the east Yorkshire corridor.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent finance professional.
• Experience as Financial Controller/Finance Manager with small team.
• Ability to relay complex financial information to non-finance colleagues.

If you are a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) finance professional seeking a challenging yet rewarding appointment, you will love this one.

Candidates should have previously worked at Financial Controller/Finance Manager level and have experience of managing a small team as well as a high degree of systems literacy.

Communicating effectively comes naturally to you with the added ability of being able to relay sometimes quite complex financial information to non-finance colleagues when required. Technically adept, part of your role will be to lead the budget and forecasts preparation, oversee the statutory accounts and audit and keep an eye open to improve financial systems and processes when necessary. Leading your team to deliver timely financial information often to deadline is a big part of this role. You are versatile, adaptable and thrive in a friendly, collaborative culture.

The location is within an easy commute of Hull and the surrounding areas, A63, Humber Bridge and the eastern M62 corridor, Driffield and the coastal towns.
