Job summary

Edwards & Pearce Ltd in the United Kingdom seeks an ACA/ACCA/CIMA-qualified finance professional at a Financial Controller/Finance Manager level to lead a small team. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, statutory accounts and audit, and drive improvements in financial systems and processes.

Excellent communication with non-finance colleagues is essential as you translate complex financial information and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) finance professional
• Experience at Financial Controller/Finance Manager level
• Experience managing a small team

Job description

If you are a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or equivalent) finance professional seeking a challenging yet rewarding appointment, you will love this one.

Candidates should have previously worked at Financial Controller/Finance Manager level and have experience of managing a small team as well as a high degree of systems literacy.

Communicating effectively comes naturally to you with the added ability of being able to relay sometimes quite complex financial information to non-finance colleagues when required. Technically adept, part of your role will be to lead the budget and forecasts preparation, oversee the statutory accounts and audit and keep an eye open to improve financial systems and processes when necessary. Leading your team to deliver timely financial information often to deadline is a big part of this role. You are versatile, adaptable and thrive in a friendly, collaborative culture.

The location is within an easy commute of Hull and the surrounding areas, A63, Humber Bridge and the eastern M62 corridor, Driffield and the coastal towns.
