Job summary

Visual Architects in Manchester is seeking a highly organised Head of Build & Production to lead planning, coordination, and delivery of fabrication and build operations across live projects. This hands-on leadership role requires strong scheduling, workforce planning, and supplier management.

You will collaborate with Project Managers, Creative Producers, Designers and installation teams, ensuring projects move from concept to delivery on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Strong production planning and organisational skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience coordinating fabrication and build schedules.
• Strong understanding of workshop operations and build environments.
• Experience managing labour, contractors and suppliers.
• Commercial awareness and budget management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee build planning and production scheduling.
• Coordinate workforce allocation and procurement.
• Oversee workshop and fabrication progress.
• Manage supplier relationships and deliveries.
• Lead production teams across multiple live projects.
